I'm passionate and driven, and have a bad habit of expecting one too many things out of life, which often leads to disappointment. However, I've never been one to give up. I love to travel and have been abroad numerous times (this June it'll be Milan, Italy). I'm independent, and go stir-crazy whenever I take a break from the workforce. I like to spend my paychecks on dinners out on the town (usually Japanese cuisine), an obscure film, or a quality play. I love being active, and am a regular gym rat, in addition to rock climbing/bouldering and taking dance classes. I used to be heavily involved in the theatre, and am therefore very friendly, outgoing, and vivacious; politically, I'm a Democrat with liberal views. I'd prefer my home state of New Jersey and the vibrant streets of Philadelphia to Maryland and its Baltimore any day of the week, but I'm surviving, majoring in Psychology and Deaf Studies (if I like you enough, I may teach you cuss words in American Sign Language). I’m currently lending my skills to the coffee industry; I’m the only barista in the U.S. without a tattoo and a taste for espresso, but I love my job.
Most importantly, I don't think that there's anything worse than being ordinary, and I thrive to believe that life is only a question of, "If I were a book, would anyone want to read me?" I welcome new faces and personalities, because really, everyone has their own story to tell.
